La Bussola di Hermes cheap 2 star hotel in Capri online reservation

In the historic center of Anacapri, in a peaceful area immersed in greenery one finds the Hotel Bussola di Hermes. Its position allows guests to reach in just a few minutes all the major attractions on the island of Capri, such as the chairlift to Monte Solaro, the Monumental Church of St Michele, the Axel Munthe Museum, the Punta Carena Lighthouse, the Piazzetta of Capri, and the town’s elegant boutiques.
Not far from the Hotel Bussola di Hermes, along the typical narrow lanes of Anacapri, one can reach Damecuta, once the Imperial Residence of Tiberius, now one of the most enchanting places from where to admire the scenery of Capri, a landscape where sea and nature seem to unite for eternity. From Damecuta the sunset is simply spectacular! A few steps and one arrives as the stop for buses heading to the Grotta Azzurra and the Gradola Bathing establishment.

From the port take the local bus to Anacapri until Piazza Vittoria, where, on request it is possible to link up with the hotel shuttle service. Alternatively, guests can walk through the historic center of Anacapri to the hotel (five minutes). For those arriving from the port by taxi, we advise them to ask to be dropped off at Bivio del Pagliaro, and then to take Via Padre Reginaldo Giuliani and in a few minutes crossing Via Vigna and then Traversa la Vigna, they will arrive at the Hotel.

Hotel Bussola di Hermes offers its guests welcoming and light filled rooms, in true Caprian style, with vaulted ceilings and vietresi majolica floor tiles which evoke the sensation of being amidst the colors of the sky and sea.
Furnished in a simple, supremely elegant style, the rooms all have private bathrooms, television, air conditioning, heating, safety deposit box, telephone, hair dryer.
The second floor of the hotel, the restoration and decoration of which was directed personally by the young owner Cristiano, almost gives visitors the impression of being in a villa of ancient Pompei; after having climbed the marble staircase it is possible to glimpse little snatches of Roman history and culture: the long marble corridor with its strong decisive colors, columns, niches and vaulted ceilings - an expression of Cristiano's love for all things simple, yet at the same time, refined.
The eight rooms on the second floor all have enchanting views, some with private sea view terraces from where one can enjoy breathtaking scenery and the fabulous light display created by the sun setting behind the island of Ischia.

The hotel boasts a splendid terrace-solarium where guests can soak in the sun and and the tranquility in total relaxation.
